Supporters of SAFE@LAST will be boogieing on Friday 15th July when they take part in the BIG Bop.

Students at Winterhill Comprehensive School, Pope Pius Catholic High School, and colleagues at 2010 will join the Deputy Mayor of Rotherham when they dance to the popular song Cha Cha Slide in t-shirts specially designed by pupils at Winterhill School.

The song will be played live on Rother Fm at 2.30pm for everyone in the borough to get involved.

The event aims to raise awareness regarding the issue of running away and raise funds for SAFE@LAST.  We’re really looking forward to the BIG Bop.  It’s a special event for us as the idea for it came from young people in Rotherham who knew about SAFE@LAST and wanted to do something to help the charity and other young people.  It’s brilliant to think that people will simultaneously be supporting SAFE@LAST today.
