SAFE@LAST welcomes new Volunteering Development

SAFE@LAST has this week welcomed their new Volunteering Development Co-ordinator after our previous Volunteer Manager, Margaret Trickett retired in the Spring.

Kathryn Axon has taken up the role of Volunteering Development Co-ordinator at the charity and will manage the 100+ volunteers that support SAFE@LAST to deliver services for young people at risk through running away in South Yorkshire.

Head of Operations Mark Smith said “We are pleased to welcome Kathryn to our dedicated team at SAFE@LAST.  We are excited about the new skills and experience she will bring to this post.  We could not continue to deliver the quality of services we do without the support of our fantastic volunteers.  Volunteering is a fantastic way to give something back as well as learning new skills and meeting new people.  SAFE@LAST has a range of volunteering opportunities available to suit everyone so if you are interested I urge you to get in touch.”
