Kevin Barron MP

Our patron Kevin Barron MP speaking in the Houses of Parliament
Kevin Barron is the Member of Parliament for Rother Valley and is currently Chair of the Health Select Committee as well as a member of both the Liaison Committee and the Standards and Privileges Committee. He has lived in Maltby since he was eight years old and began his working life as an underground electrician at Maltby Colliery before entering Parliament in 1983.
Kevin has been a patron of SAFE@LAST since 2007 and last year was delighted to accept the Directory of Social Change's Everyday Impact Award on behalf of the charity.
As our base is in the Rother Valley constituency, where the charity head office is also located, Kevin has seen and supported the good work that has enabled SAFE@LAST to grow from local beginnings to influencing a more comprehensive approach to services for young people at a national level.
