Lucy Pargeter



Actress Lucy Pargeter has appeared in Soldier Soldier, Dalziel and Pascoe, and played the role of Brenda in the film Anita and Me. However, it is for her roles as Helen Raven in Crossroads and Chastity Dingle who she currently plays in the long running soap Emmerdale that she is best known. Lucy lives in Leeds with her fiance Rudi Coleano and daughter Lola Grace.

In 2006 she appeared in the reality singing competition Soapstar Superstar and finished in third place and SAFE@LAST was proud to be one of two beneficiaries of the telephone voting alongside the Special Care Baby Unit at St James Hospital Leeds. Lucy has also represented SAFE@LAST, not once but twice on Celebrity Family Fortunes

Lucy was introduced to the work of SAFE@LAST in 2006 as a result of Children in Need funding part of the Missing Person's scheme. She met Runaway Services Director, Tracy Haycox, one of the Project workers and some of the young people who were receiving support at the time. Lucy was bowled over by the young people and the difference that SAFE@LAST was making and has been a constant and loyal supporter ever since; she agreed to become a patron shortly after that first meeting and is always happy to help out when it fits with her very busy work schedule.
